why is it so strange? conversation always depends on the dynamics of the group and each individual personality within the group, like say, when i hang out with a very old friend of mine (a guy), we often reminisce about the past, just as i do with my very old girlfriends. but with newer friends we talk about current events/interests we both have, etc.

to me it's not really about gender, it's about the people. there might be more or less flirting in the conversation, but that's all i can think of that gender would influence. if i'm the only girl hanging out with five guys, we (or they, i guess) usually end up talking about things they have a common interest in, which might happen to be sports/video games, but it's not because of their gender. i know girls who like to talk about sports and video games as well, because that's what they're interested in

i can have a philosophical discussion about life with a guy and with a girl, i can talk about feminine hygiene or girly things like nail polish and hair with both guys and girls (though the former it's more of a joke)...it doesn't really matter, y'know, we talk about what comes to mind ^^;;
